EDIT: fixed the sword and some dirtyness here and there. Also added some red glow to the trees.
Link wasn't able to move; his body would not obey. Shadows surrounded him. He felt them entering inside him, flowing through his body and his mind. The sword was shaking in his hand, so firmly held that the muscles constricted in pain. But he couldn't feel anything, only the darkness. And the voice. Coming both from outside and inside him, filling his entrails, whispering in his ear. It was everywhere. He heard it over the wild, heavy thumping of his heart:
"Kill... them..."
Dear Master Sword:
I love you, but you are a pain in the ass to paint. Please excuse how I've screwed you so badly.
Sinceresly, your fan number who-knows-which.
...
Finished! Creepy, isn't it? Maybe too much *hides*
From a fanfiction not written yet based in the consequences of the hugest mindfuck ever seen in a Zelda game and in how our hero may succumb to the everlasting power of darkness
I don't even know if I'm going to use that extract (at the comments' top) I just improvised to fit this drawing. Kinda like it, maybe I'll do it
I painted this while listening to the creepiest music themes only from Twilight Princess *shivers* Arbiter's Grounds (those sounds from beyond the grave), the Twilight-conquered zones (they sound like if they were being played backwards. Kinda scary), the Lakebed Temple (people breathing!), and (of course!) Lanayru's induced vision (THE LAST SECONDS )...
But the one I can imagine perfectly related to the image is this one :
I love how the colours blend between the trees and the "dark spirit" as I think it is, if this is for a fanfiction then it would deffenetly be worth reading. I also agree on the sword always being a pain to paint but you did a great job The swirling whisps of evil around Link go well, the look of fear is pretty good, the shading and lighting are well done, the red glow on Link's glove is very well done, I must say this is a very good peice of art, well done Would love to see more of your work
well first of all let me state that i absolutly love this piece....it shows the inner struggle Link has to stay good throught Twilight Princess and with his crossovers to the Twilight Realm the power overwhelms him....just like you have pictured here......the red of the shadow that makes up links darkness makes it that much better than just a black shadow....and i love the whispy effect you did making the dark link seem like smoke.....as if he sudenly appeared from nowhere.....overall i absolutly love this piece.the only thing that seems off is the background....its not that it looks bad but maybe the lighting to it.....though im not a great person to ask about that but something seems off with it........but i love the piece and i think it looks great
